About The Farm

Our market garden farm operates from March thru November. When we started farming in 2021 I never thought we would eventually be making our living full time here at the hollow, but we're giving it our best shot. Each season brings with it new knowledge, new efficiency and new mistakes that we learn from.

We operate using organic methods but are not certified. We use no synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. We prefer to use crop rotation, low-tillage and the occassional organic remedy for pest and disease control. We also use only non-GMO seeds and in most instances the varieties we grow are grown from organic seeds.

We have a small greenhouse on the farm that we start seeds in, along with a hoophouse used for spring salad greens and getting tomatoes off to an early start. Our herbs gardens are expanding every year to include culinary and medicinal herbs that we dry, extract and blend for year long enjoyment.

The Stand @ Red Moon Hollow

Our honor-system farm stand operates from mid-April thru November, weather dependent, of course. Our stand offers in-season produce grown here at the farm starting with our much anticipated salad greens in the Spring.

We also have farm eggs in the refrigerator from hens that forage daily and are fed non-GMO feed. In the fridge you'll also find fermented hot sauces and pickles when the cucumbers are ripe.

The shelves are stocked with salts and seasonings, herbal tea blends, homemade jams, and lots of other pantry staples. Wooden kitchen utensils and other artisan goods can be found to create a one of kind gift.
